E~Din Records from Wynberg Girls High School put enormous effort into their "Music Revolution" gig which was held at their school earlier in the year. They were the first MMC to host their Battle of the Bands in the Mr Price Blastbeat competition and they certainly set the bar high!
Hannah Bing and her team showed the world what they had to offer and it was astounding! Much thought, planning, rehearsal and passion was put in to make their event such a success.
One of the elements of the evening that really made it special was that they girls had pledged 100% of their profits to The Amy Biehl Foundation in Cape Town. The team not only pledged all their profits but went out to the townships where they organisation has its programmes for young people. This made them work even harder to make their event as profitable as possible, having seen the beneficiaries of the Amy Biehl Foundation.
During assembly the team handed over a cheque for R8 300 to Ilchen Rietief from Th Amy Biehl Foundation. An enormous achievement for a group of Grade 10 students.
