Mr Price Blastbeat launched their partnership in Cape Town in 2008. Mr Price is a leading retail company in South Africa that fully supports local music and entrepreneurship amongst young people.
Mr Price Blastbeat expanded to 15 schools in the Western Cape and introduced a unique programme, The Development Programme which supports the International Blastbeat programme. This Development Programme addressed leadership, effective communication, teamwork, basic business skills and enabled many of our schools to learn the fundamentals of business before embarking on their journey through the 3 month programme.
We have watched over 90 bands compete through the mini company gigs held all over the Western Cape, from Wynberg, Manenberg, Mitchells Plain, Ocean View, Somerset West to Stellenbosch!
