Get ready for Blastoff!!
After months of preparation and hard work, the Mr Price Blastbeat Finals are only a day away! We've seen some amazing bands. Our Music and Mulitmedia companies and worked hard to organise, promote and help you enjoy some brilliant battle of the band competitions. It's been a fanstatic journey to get to this point and the excitement is really building!
We have a cracking day and night of music and multimedia to look forward to! One of Blastbeat's founding members and Global Operations Manager Rory Griffin from Dublin, Ireland has been here since last week and has been blown away by the enthusiasm, skill and musical talent that South Africa has to offer.
So down to business! The day starts with the Mr Price Blastbeat schools Music and Multimedia exhibition from 11am - 1pm. Then from 1pm - 6pm we have the Band Finals Day event whose cracking line up includes Siyaya and all our competing Bands Hola 4, Blue Sky Friday Mellow Vision, Young Soldiers, Suede, Mamela and Mysterious.
The night event promises not to dissapoint either. Competing Bands include The Fractured, D*Frost Checked Zebra, Wings of Aggression, Sunrise Creek, The Incredible Coda, Choas on the Sun and many more. We also have some great headliners for you including aKing and Ben Nevis who promise to play some brilliant sets!!
